Dr. Melanie Gatterer, born in 1981, completed her medical studies at the Medical University of Vienna. She underwent regular training in Krems as a general practitioner and specialized in gynecology and obstetrics at the University Clinic for Gynecology at Vienna General Hospital and SMZ Ost. She is a member of the Austrian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, the Austrian Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the Austrian Society for Pre- and Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Gatterer specializes in pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancies, general gynecology, contraception advice, and first visits to the gynecologist. She speaks German and English.
