Dr Richard Armstrong

Dr Richard Armstrong is a Consultant Neurologist practicing at The Berkshire Clinic. He has been a Consultant at the Royal Berkshire and Oxford University Hospitals since 2011. He diagnoses and treats patients with all neurological problems, with particular expertise in migraine and headache disorders. He set up the Headache service in Reading and delivers specialist treatments including monoclonal antibodies, botulinum toxin and cranial nerve blocks. He leads the Epilepsy Clinic in Reading and his key research interest is in Huntington's disease. Dr Armstrong graduated from Cambridge University with a double First class degree in Neuroscience and completed a PhD researching treatments for Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease.
