Dr Doug Barker

Dr Doug Barker is a Consultant Anaesthetist within the Berkshire Private Anaesthesia (BPA) Partnership. He qualified from Imperial College London in 2006, with a BSc in Neurosciences. He completed a Master of Research degree in Translational Medicine and was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship at Imperial College. He undertook anaesthesia training across the Oxford Deanery and was appointed Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2016. His subspecialty interests include Perioperative Medicine and Obstetric Anaesthesia. He is a member of the Society for Obese and Bariatric Anaesthesia and leads several local research studies.
