Dr Foteini Kavvoura is a Consultant Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Bariatric Medicine at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, with over 10 years experience. She leads the Young Adult Diabetes Service and co-leads the Bariatric Service. She manages all endocrine conditions, including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid problems, PCOS, fertility issues, and testosterone replacement. She is the regional lead for genetic forms of diabetes. Dr Kavvoura graduated from the University of Ioannina, School of Medicine in 2005, completed her PhD in Genetic Epidemiology in 2008, and her clinical training in the East of England and Oxford. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer.
