Assoc.Prof. Priv.Doz. Dr. Silke Aldrian studierte Humanmedizin an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und absolvierte ihre Facharztausbildung für Unfallchirurgie sowie das Additivfach Sporttraumatologie an der Universitätsklinik für Unfallchirurgie in Wien. Seit 2001 ist sie in der Unfallchirurgie und Sporttraumatologie tätig und leitet seit 2009 die Spezialambulanz für traumatische Knorpelschäden am AKH Wien. Seit 2013 ist sie Oberärztin, 2014 wurde sie zur Assoziierten Professorin ernannt und habilitierte im selben Jahr zur Privatdozentin. 2016 legte sie die Facharztprüfung für Orthopädie und Traumatologie ab und wurde 2017 zur stellvertretenden Leiterin der Universitätsklinik für Unfallchirurgie ernannt. Dr. Aldrian ist Mitglied in mehreren Fachgesellschaften wie der ÖGU, ÖGOuT, AGA, ICRS, SICOT und QKG.
