Dr. Gabriele Berger ist Fachärztin für Kinder- und Jugendheilkunde mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der pädiatrischen Diabetologie. Sie war von 1997 bis 2007 Betreuerin auf Diabetes-Camps des LKH Leoben und arbeitete von 2011 bis 2021 an der Univ. Klinik für Kinder- und Jugendheilkunde im AKH Wien, insbesondere in der Kinder-Diabetesambulanz und Tagesklinik für Pädiatrische Psychosomatik. Seit 2021 betreibt sie eine Wahlarztordination in Korneuburg mit Schwerpunkt auf Diabetesambulanz. Sie ist spezialisiert auf die Betreuung von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Diabetes, inklusive Insulinpumpentherapie, kontinuierlicher Glukosemessung und individueller Therapiekonzepte. Ihre Arbeit umfasst auch die Beratung zu Diabetes und Sport, Adipositas, Ernährung, psychologischen Aspekten sowie die Unterstützung bei besonderen familiären Herausforderungen. Dr. Berger ist zudem extern Lehrende an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und FH für Diätologen.
