Birgit Elsayed-Glaser ist Ergotherapeutin, Schemacoach und Künstlerin. Sie setzt auf einen ressourcenorientierten Ansatz, der Menschen in verschiedenen Stadien der Behandlung begleitet, von akuten Krisen bis zum Wiedereinstieg in Arbeit und Leben. Ihr Arbeitsfeld liegt in der Behandlung von Menschen mit psychischen Erkrankungen, wobei sie durch individuelle Mittel die Handlungsfähigkeit in Alltag und Arbeit fördert. Sie arbeitet mit einem Recovery-Ansatz, der Lebensqualität trotz psychischer Symptomatik als erreichbares Ziel betrachtet. Ihr Werdegang umfasst Stationen an der Universitätsklinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, dem Zentrum für seelische Gesundheit Leopoldau, sowie Lehraufträge am FH Campus Wien. Seit 2015 ist sie Supervisorin und seit 2019 Schemacoach. Sie bietet Fortbildungen, Vorträge und individuelle Therapien an, die kreativ, praxisbezogen und ressourcenorientiert gestaltet sind.
