Primaria Dr. Claudia Francesconi ist Fachärztin für Innere Medizin und Diabetologin. Sie studierte Medizin an der Universität Wien (1987–1994) und absolvierte die Facharztausbildung für Innere Medizin (1995–2003). Sie erwarb Diplome für Sportmedizin (1994–1998) und Notfallmedizin (2012). Seit 2001 forscht und publiziert sie. 2003 übernahm sie die ärztliche Leitung der Diabetes- und Stoffwechselambulanz im Gesundheitszentrum Wien Mitte. 2013 wurde sie zur Oberärztin ernannt. 2015 wurde sie zur ärztlichen Leiterin der SKA RZ Alland bestellt. Aktuell ist sie Generalsekretär der Diabetes Initiative Österreich (DIÖ). Sie ist Autorin des Buches 'Insulintherapie bei Typ 2 Diabetes' (2010). Ihre Schwerpunkte liegen in der diabetologischen Langzeitbetreuung von Typ-1- und Typ-2-Diabetikern, sportmedizinischer Beratung, Betreuung von Gestationsdiabetikerinnen sowie Behandlung von Hypertonie und Fettstoffwechselstörungen. Sie führt angiologische Jahrescheckuntersuchungen und Neuropathiescreening durch.
