About the doctor

Barbara Friedel, geboren 1983 in Wien, studierte nach ihrer Matura an der FH Campus Wien Hebammenkunde und schloss ihr Studium 2010 ab. Sie vertiefte ihr Wissen durch einen Aufenthalt in Dänemark und arbeitet seitdem als freiberufliche Hebamme in Niederösterreich und Wien. Seit Jänner 2019 ist sie zusätzlich im Krankenhaus Tulln angestellt und betreut dort im Kreißsaal. Mit ihren drei Kindern Felix, Sophie und Susi hat sie persönlich die Vielfalt von Schwangerschaften und Geburten erlebt. Barbara Friedel begleitet und unterstützt werdende Mütter sowie junge Familien auf ihrem Weg mit ihrem Kind, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf individuelle Betreuung und emotionaler Unterstützung.
