Prof. Dr. Christoph Grimm ist als Oberarzt und assoziierter Professor an der Abteilung für allgemeine Gynäkologie und gynäkologische Onkologie an der Medizinischen Universität Wien tätig. Er leitet das Team für gynäkologische Onkologie und hat seine Facharztausbildung an der Medizinischen Universität Wien absolviert. Während seiner Ausbildung hospitierte er 2008 in Brisbane, Australien, bei Prof. Obermair. 2014 schloss er das zertifizierte Programm der Europäischen Gesellschaft für gynäkologische Onkologie ab und verbrachte 15 Monate als Facharzt in Essen-Mitte bei Prof. du Bois. Grimm hat sich auf operative Weiterbildungen, insbesondere minimalinvasive Therapien und Roboterassistierte Laparoskopie, spezialisiert. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist die Diagnostik und Behandlung von zervikalen Dysplasien, für die er 2012 das Diplom für Kolposkopie der Europäischen Gesellschaft für Kolposkopie erwarb. Zudem ist er in der genetischen Beratung bei Ovarial- und Endometriumkarzinomen tätig und hält das Diplom für Genetik der Österreichischen Ärztekammer. Grimm ist wissenschaftlich aktiv, mit über 100 Publikationen in internationalen Peer-review-Journalen, und engagiert sich als Reviewer und Editor in Fachzeitschriften. Seine Abteilung ist das größte österreichische gynäko-onkologische Studienzentrum.
