Von 1993 bis 1998 arbeitete sie als Assistenzärztin an der Universitätsklinik für Augenheilkunde und Optometrie, mit Schwerpunkt in der Makula-, Netzhaut- und Sicca-Ambulanz. Sie absolvierte zahlreiche Kontaktlinsen-Seminare zur optimalen Anpassung. Seit 1998 führt sie eine eigene Kassenordination in Eßling, die 2017 in neue Räumlichkeiten mit modernster Diagnostikausstattung übersiedelte.
