Dr. Mandl ist zudem Sportärztereferent der Ärztekammer Steiermark, Vortragender für AO-Fortbildungen an der MedUni Graz und Mitglied in mehreren medizinischen Gesellschaften wie der ÖGU, AGA, GOTS, ESSKA und ISAKOS.
