Oberarzt Dr. Gerhard Mayr-Leonardelli studierte Medizin an der Universität Wien und absolvierte seine Facharztausbildung zum Orthopäden im orthopädischen Krankenhaus Gersthof sowie am Herz-Jesu-Krankenhaus. Seit 1996 arbeitete er als Vertreter von Prim. Dr. Helmut Lietzer, übernahm 2000 die Ordination in der Meidlinger Hauptstraße und ist seit 1999 Oberarzt für Orthopädie im Herz-Jesu-Krankenhaus. Seit 2004 leitet er das Department Akutgeriatrie und Remobilisation mit 24 Betten, wo er sowohl Spitalspatienten als auch Patienten aus der Ordination operiert und betreut. Dr. Mayr-Leonardelli engagiert sich für die Organisation 'Doctors for Disabled' und nimmt regelmäßig an Weiterbildungen in Manuelle Medizin, Neuraltherapie, Geriatrie, Ultraschalluntersuchung, Laser- und Stoßwellentherapie teil.
