Dr. Muschitz lehrt an der Universität Wien im PhD-Programm Musculoskeletal & Dental Research sowie im Diplomstudium Humanmedizin. Er engagiert sich als Vorsitzender der Leitlinien-Kommission und Präsident elect der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Knochen- und Mineralstoffwechsel (ÖGKM) für die Weiterentwicklung evidenzbasierter Osteoporose-Behandlungsrichtlinien in Österreich. Seine wissenschaftliche Arbeit zur Osteoporose begann bereits während des Medizinstudiums und bildet den Kern seiner klinischen Tätigkeit. Nach seiner Ausbildung am Allgemeinen Krankenhaus Wien und am Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern Wien leitete er als Oberarzt eine internistische Akutstation und die erste zertifizierte Osteoporose-Ambulanz Österreichs. Seit 2014 führt er seine Wahlarztordination im Zentrum Wiens im Kompetenzzentrum healthPi, wo moderne Diagnostik, individuelle Beratung und persönliche Betreuung im Mittelpunkt stehen.
