OÄ Dr. Julia Palkovits ist Fachärztin für Innere Medizin mit Additivfach Gastroenterologie und Hepatologie. Sie promovierte 2004 an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und absolvierte ihre Facharztausbildung an der MedUni Wien und der Klinik Hietzing. Ihre klinischen Schwerpunkte sind chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen (Morbus Crohn, Colitis ulcerosa), gastroenterologische Endoskopie und Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten. Sie war wissenschaftlich tätig und betreute multizentrische Studien auf dem Gebiet der CED. Seit 2014 arbeitet sie als Oberärztin in der gastroenterologischen Ambulanz im Gesundheitszentrum Favoriten und besitzt ein Qualitätszertifikat für Darmkrebsvorsorge. Sie bietet Diagnostik und Therapie bei Refluxerkrankungen, Zöliakie, funktionellen Darmerkrankungen sowie Magen- und Darmspiegelungen inklusive Polypenabtragungen an.
