Professor DDr Hubert Porteder ist Facharzt für Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie sowie für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde. Von 1987 bis 1990 leitete er die Universitätsklinik für MKG-Chirurgie am AKH Wien, anschließend war er bis 2008 Primarius der Abteilung für MKG-Chirurgie am Schwerpunkt Krankenhaus St. Pölten. Gleichzeitig leitete er das Ludwig Boltzmann Institut für Gerostomatologie. Er war Fachgruppenvorsitzender für MKG-Chirurgie der NÖ ÄK und wurde in den niederösterreichischen Landessanitätsrat berufen. Er hält Lehraufträge an der Universität Wien und an mehreren Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegeschulen und hat über 450 wissenschaftliche Publikationen veröffentlicht.
