Dr. Stefan Schenk absolvierte sein Medizinstudium an der Universität Wien und promovierte 1996 zum Doktor der Gesamten Heilkunde. Er absolvierte seine Facharztausbildung für Orthopädie am Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern Wien und am Orthopädischen Spital Speising in Wien. Seit 2003 ist er Facharzt für Orthopädie und orthopädische Chirurgie. Er war Oberarzt an der Abteilung für Wirbelsäulenchirurgie am Orthopädischen Spital Speising und Leiter der Skolioseambulanz. Dr. Schenk spezialisierte sich auf Wirbelsäulendeformitäten, Skoliose und Kyphose. Er verfügt über das Eurospine-Diplom, ÖÄK-Diplome für Manuelle Medizin, Notfallmedizin und Fortbildungsdiplom. Zudem ist er sportärztlich tätig und war als Sportarzt für American Football und Handball (u.a. Damen-Nationalteam) engagiert. Er ist Mitglied in mehreren Fachgesellschaften wie der Austrian Society of Orthopaedic Surgery, Austrian Society for Spine Surgery, Eurospine, AO Spine und der Vereinigung für Kinderorthopädie.
