Dr. Mark Schurz studierte Humanmedizin an der medizinischen Fakultät in Wien und absolvierte seine Facharztausbildung für Unfallchirurgie und Sporttraumatologie an der Universitätsklinik für Unfallchirurgie in Wien. Von 2012 bis 2020 war er stationsführender Oberarzt an der Universitätsklinik für Unfallchirurgie in Wien und leitete ab 2013 die Sportambulanz der Universitätsklinik. Seit 2017 ist er Facharzt für Orthopädie und Traumatologie. Dr. Schurz ist als Sportmediziner von der österreichischen Ärztekammer zertifiziert und verfügt über Zusatzdiplome für Notarzt und Mountain Medicine. Er führte als erster Unfallchirurg in Wien die minimalinvasive Kreuzbandersatzplastik-Technik (All Inside) ein und lehrte diese Methode. Dr. Schurz ist spezialisiert auf Kreuzbandchirurgie und führt jährlich etwa 500 Kreuzbandoperationen durch.
