Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. univ. Anna Spacek ist eine renommierte Spezialistin für Schmerzmedizin mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der westlichen Schulmedizin und Traditionellen Chinesischen Medizin (TCM). Sie absolvierte ihr Medizinstudium in Stettin und Wien und promovierte 1984. Von 1990 bis 1994 absolvierte sie die Facharztausbildung für Anästhesiologie und Intensivmedizin am AKH Wien, wo sie seit 1994 als Oberärztin tätig war. Von 1994 bis 2001 leitete sie die Akupunktur-Ambulanz und Schmerz-Ambulanz am AKH. Sie erhielt 1999 die Lehrbefugnis als Universitätsdozentin und 2000 den Titel außerordentliche Universitätsprofessorin. Seit Mai 2002 betreibt sie ihre eigene Privatordination für Schmerztherapie, Akupunktur und Lasertherapie in Wien. Ihre Ordination bietet individuelle Therapiekonzepte, die westliche Schulmedizin mit TCM-Methoden wie Akupunktur verbinden. Sie hat über 200 internationale Vorträge gehalten und zahlreiche Publikationen verfasst. Seit September 2023 ist sie ausschließlich in ihrer Privatordination tätig.
