Nach der Ausbildung zur Allgemeinmedizinerin in Steiermark und Niederösterreich (2011–2015) spezialisierte sie sich zur Urologin am Universitätsklinikum St. Pölten (2015–2020). Sie vertiefte ihre Kenntnisse in der Kinderurologie am Ordensklinikum Linz (2017–2017) und arbeitete als Fachärztin für Urologie am Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern Wien (2020–2023). Dr. Starmühler ist Fellow of the European Board of Urology (F.E.B.U.) und engagiert sich ehrenamtlich in der DOCK Sozial- und Gesundheitspraxis sowie als Oberärztin am Landesklinikum Korneuburg seit 2023. Sie hat internationale Erfahrungen durch Auslandsaufenthalte in Prag, Burkina Faso und Italien. Dr. Starmühler ist Mitglied der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Urologie (ÖGU), des Berufsverbandes der österreichischen Urologie (BVU) und der European Association of Urology (EAU).
