Dr. Türk ist Mitglied in mehreren wissenschaftlichen Vereinigungen, darunter die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Urologie (ÖGU), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Urologie (DGU), American Urology Association und European Association of Urology. Er war Mitglied des Arbeitskreises Harnsteine der DGU, Vorsitzender des Arbeitskreises Urolithiasis der ÖGU (bis 2018) und seit 2010 Vorsitzender der Leitliniengruppe für Urolithiasis der EAU.
