Univ. Prof. Dr. Edvin Turkof ist Facharzt für Plastische, Ästhetische und Rekonstruktive Chirurgie mit Schwerpunkt auf ästhetische Gesichtschirurgie, Brustchirurgie, Körperformung und periphere Nervenchirurgie. Er promovierte 1982 an der Universität Wien und absolvierte seine Facharztausbildung am AKH Wien. 1996 habilitierte er sich und wurde 1997 zum außerordentlichen Universitätsprofessor ernannt. Im selben Jahr eröffnete er seine Privatordination in Wien. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte umfassen Facelift, Augenlidkorrekturen, Nasenkorrekturen, Brustvergrößerung mit Eigenfett, Bruststraffung und -verkleinerung, Fettabsaugung, Gynäkomastie-Korrektur, sowie rekonstruktive Eingriffe wie Brustrekonstruktion nach Krebs und Nervenrekonstruktionen. Er führte innovative Techniken wie die vibrationsassistierte Fettabsaugung (Lipomatic) und das subperiostale Mittelgesichtslifting in Wien ein. Dr. Turkof ist zudem gerichtlich beeideter Sachverständiger für Plastische Chirurgie und Autor der 14-bändigen Enzyklopädia Aesthetica.
