Er ist Vorstand der Abteilung für Urologie am Landesklinikum Mistelbach und verbindet eine ganzheitliche sowie individuelle urologische Betreuung. Seine Ausbildung erfolgte an der Krankenanstalt Rudolfstiftung Wien und der Urologischen Universitätsklinik Würzburg, Deutschland. Dr. Wimpissinger war von 2011 bis 2013 Vorsitzender des Arbeitskreises für Andrologie der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Urologie (ÖGU) und hat zahlreiche nationale und internationale Publikationen sowie Vorträge auf Kongressen veröffentlicht. Er ist Gastprofessor an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München und Prüfer der Europäischen Facharztprüfung (European Board of Urology).
